And then, suddenly, you find yourself caught in the net.

It’s not just any net: it’s made of words, half-truths, unkept promises, and versions of ourselves that we built to please others, to escape, and to avoid disappointing anyone. The fisherman’s net becomes the net of consequences.

Pinocchio, with his nose that betrays every lie, hangs there — suspended, powerless, a little ridiculous and a little tragic — exactly like what happens to us when our lies, even the “white” ones, wrap around us and refuse to let us move.

Yet, it is precisely in that moment of forced stillness that the opportunity to truly look at ourselves arises.

This is not just about Pinocchio. It’s about all the times we’ve felt trapped by our own stories, about the difficulty of being authentic, and about the quiet hope that sooner or later someone — or something — will pull us out of that net… or that we finally find the courage to cut ourselves free.
