We are always standing in line, focused on showing our best, most flawless selves, just like these apples. Then, life takes a bite, breaks the order, and wears us down a bit.

This painting speaks about us: our vulnerability, and all the times we have been the “bitten” apple in a world that tries so hard to appear perfect. That third apple, wounded yet standing proud in its place, is the center of everything.
